Madison's Coloring Page

Hi, My name is Madison and I'm 12.

My Dad saves old buildings from being crushed by bulldozers.

He tries very hard to save houses made of logs because they are very, very old. He also saves old barns and old houses. He calls it historic architecture.

Log houses were built and lived in when people first came to our country.

My Dad saves them by taking them apart and finding a new home for them. It is hard, dirty work to take apart a house.

Someday he wants to take some of the houses he saves and rebuild them on a preserve. It will be a place for kids like us to learn about them.

If you want you can color this log house and kitten.
