1840 Center Hall Timber Frame House (Pine Grove House)

More Pictures > >

Approximately 26 1/2' x 35 1/2', this 5 bay Georgian Timber Frame House has an attached 16' x 20' summer kitchen and many additions. The materials from the additions will be thrown in for spare parts. There is an original step back Cupboard with dove-tailed battons on the plank doors. The walk-in fireplace has it's original doors. An original German Elbow Latch is still in place in the kitchen and many of them remain on original doors. First floor has ceiling height of 8' 9" and second floor 8' 4". The second floor bedroom ceiling has original green paint wash on the planks and beams - luckily the wash had been preserved by a newer plaster ceiling. Hand Hewn oak roof rafters are wood pegged into place. Original 9 over 6 window sash has fantastic wavy glass. 5 panel doors and original moulding and baseboards are all here!
